Our Vision
Grace Community Church exists to glorify God by being and becoming mature disciples of Jesus who make mature disciples of others locally, regionally, and globally.
Connecting
We desire to connect people to the Lord and to one another. The first step in our movement of people is to confirm their relationship with the Lord, introducing them to other believers in the body of Christ.
Growing
We desire to grow people in the truth of God’s Word (Hebrews 5:11-14). Preaching and teaching God’s Word is central to all we do. We want people to interact with God’s Word allowing His Word to transform their lives as they seek to live for Him. The worship service is the central venue in which God’s Word is proclaimed. We also believe that the small group ministry is where people can grow as they interact with God’s Word and other believers. We have several small groups that meet on a regular basis and we encourage all people to get plugged into a group.
Serving
We desire to challenge people to serve the body of Christ in ministry (1 Corinthians 12-14) and help them discover and use the gift God has given them to build up the body of Christ for God’s glory. Here is where the ministries of Grace come alive. People have opportunities to serve in children’s ministry, youth ministry, small group ministry, worship ministry, teaching ministry, to name a few. The list is long and continues to develop.
Going
We desire to motivate people to go into the world with the Gospel of Christ (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8). This evangelistic focus is the last step in our movement process. Equipping God’s people to share the Gospel message in their world of influence is of upmost importance. Each of our ministries focus on evangelism, however we encourage and challenge the people of Grace to be a witness for Christ in everyday life. We are blessed to support the Miller family as missionaries to Spain. Trent was serving as an elder at Grace when he and Maria answered God’s call to relocate to Spain to share the Gospel. You can keep up with the Millers at their Mission Spain website.
