Rev. Dr. Kevin Rees

PASTOR

Formally educated and extensively mentored, Kevin received his undergraduate degree at Washington Bible College (B. A., Bible & Missions, 1995) and graduate degrees at Capital Bible Seminary in Lanham, Maryland (M. A., Biblical Studies, 1997; M. Div., Theology, 1998). Twenty-five years later, Kevin earned his doctoral degree from Gateway Seminary in Ontario, California (D. Min., Ministry Leadership, 2023).

Entering full-time vocational ministry in 1994 and serving Grace Community Church in Goldsboro as Senior Pastor since 2021, Kevin has experienced virtually every aspect of local church ministry and foreign missions (first in central Italy, then in rural Uganda). As a natural extension to making disciples locally, Kevin continues to make disciples globally by training local church leaders in West and Central Africa “what accords with sound doctrine” (Titus 2:1) approximately four weeks per year under the umbrella of Timothy Two Project International, headquartered in Wilmington, NC.

Both Kevin and his wife, Shellie, enjoy traveling, gardening, and being outdoors. They have five adult children and two grandchildren.

Miller Family

Missionaries

We are blessed to support the Miller family (Trent, Maria and Lauren) as missionaries to Spain. Trent was serving as an elder at Grace when he and Maria answered God’s call to relocate to Spain to share the Gospel. You can keep up with the Millers at their Mission Spain website.
